Relationship Goals
Serving as the Creative Director for the campaign launch of Relationship Goals, I led all aspects of the film’s creative marketing (gallery shoots, key art ideation, trailer direction).
I partnered with Leroy & Rose and Authentik on key art exploration and collaborated with Seismic on AV development. We produced two distinct trailers. One tailored to a general audience and another designed for a faith-based audience. We developed two complementary key art pieces: a white hero artwork and a bold red secondary piece that released closer to launch and Valentine’s Day, coincidentally a date the film is anchored around.
We fell in love with a hero palette of red, cream, white, and black that carried across the entire campaign. We had digital billboards in New York and Los Angeles. In New York, our secondary red artwork was featured on a motion billboard, where Kelly Rowland and Cliff “Method Man” Smith appeared in front of the display themselves. The stunt created quite a memorable moment for the film’s marketing.
